Pellini Circle App — Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how Pellini Collection (“Pellini”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the Pellini Circle mobile application (“the App”).

1. Information We Collect

When you register and use the App, we collect the following:

• Phone number — used to verify your identity via one-time password (OTP) through Firebase Authentication.
• Full name — used to personalise your account and display your membership card.
• Email address — used as a secondary contact method linked to your account.
• Date of birth — used to send you birthday rewards.
• District / area — used for demographic purposes and shipping if you place an order.
• Purchase history — retrieved from our internal systems to calculate your loyalty points and tier status.
• Device identifier and push notification token — used to bind your account to a single device and to deliver push notifications (tier upgrades, points expiry, promotions, birthday messages).

2. Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not currently collect crash logs or analytics events.
• We do not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or any other device sensors.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to operate the Pellini Circle loyalty programme:

• Authenticate your identity and secure your account.
• Display your tier, points balance, and membership barcode.
• Show your purchase history and points movements.
• Send you push notifications about promotions, tier changes, points expiry, and birthday rewards.
• Pre-authenticate you into the Pellini online shop within the App so you see your member pricing.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your phone number is processed by Google Firebase solely for authentication. Your push notification token is processed by Firebase Cloud Messaging solely for delivering notifications. No other third parties receive your personal data.

Location data
When you show your Pellini Circle membership card to a cashier by opening the barcode inside the app, we collect:

Your device’s precise location (via GPS), if you have granted the app permission.
Your IP address and the approximate country/city derived from it.
The timestamp of when you opened the card, the app version, and your device platform.
We use this information to understand where and when our members redeem their cards, improve store coverage, detect suspicious redemption patterns, and produce aggregate analytics reports.

Location data is linked to your member account and retained indefinitely as part of your redemption history. You may withdraw location consent at any time by disabling Pellini Circle’s location permission in your device settings — subsequent card openings will be logged without GPS coordinates, but the IP-derived approximate location will still be recorded.

5. Data Security

All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS. Your account is protected by one-time password verification and single-device binding.

6. Data Retention

Your personal data is retained for as long as your Pellini Circle account is active. Purchase history is maintained as part of your ongoing loyalty membership.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time.

8. Children

The App is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
